What kind of dog is that? I am a cat person (also living in an apartment) but he is really cute! When we move into a house we plan on fostering which we can't do in an apartment.

I'm sorry. What happened? We are moving into one that allows dogs in August and are extremely excited!

Awww! He's a cutie!
We have an "illegal" pet in our townhouse. We're only supposed to have 2 but we have 3 (plus a bunny...)
we're a bit paranoid sometimes about getting caught. Luckily we're moving in a week and the new landlords are a-ok about all our pets!
Ditto: I saw the picture and immediately thought "Pekingnese!" He looks a lot like my sis and BIL's peke.
Sorry you're stuck in a "no doggie" zone right now! I'm so thrilled that H and I were never in the apt situation at the mercy of the landlord's rules.

How long did you live in the apartment with them? I know people have dogs even though they aren't supposed to. I used to live on the seventh floor, now i'm on the 2nd and a guy on the 7th had a pit. I've seen a dauschound (sp?) and lab pup as well that I know aren't service dogs. I'm just too much of chicken to risk it.

I just looked at that breed and agree.

Aww, I'm excited for you!
We have a female husky/lab mix. She's just at 30lbs now, but a few weeks ago, my DH went to go pay deposit and get her registered at the office, and they were saying that she would be over the "25lb" weight limit. They changed the limit after we had signed our lease. But They haven't said anything since, we always pick up after her, and have done a lot of extensive training with getting her to not bark while we are gone. We haven't heard from the office since then. We will be out of the apartments in November, so I think it will be fine. What made us mad were the other pet owners we see walking their dogs comfortably around the complex; huskies, labs, german shepards, chows, ect...
There's no way we would get rid of her though, she's become our "child" lol.
Have fun with your new baby!
