Pet care services in Cypress area?
Does anyone know of a person or service, very dependable, who could provide daily services? My mom really loves her dog and wants to keep him, but is not physically capable of handling him anymore. In addition to being constantly zapped from chemo, she is having major back issues as well.
I'd love to find someone for her. I don't know if her condition will improve, or if this will be a forever job. He's a 10 yr old lovable red heeler mix.

Call her vet. They might have recommendations, if not, have someone there who might do that on the side. I did that for a pet sitter and it worked out wonderfully for me; especially as my schnauzer got older. The petsitter was able to recognize that he was not eating, etc. and checked with the vet while I was gone.
Also, check with the church; maybe some of the Boy Scouts might be able to come over a couple of times a week to walk the dog, etc..
