Just wondering if anyone else is taking a month off after the baby is born from their, well, wifely duties? My husband was rather appalled when I mentioned taking some time off from wifely duties and asked that we work those 4 weeks I want off into our schedule before the baby is born. I think he's being a bit unfair because, really? I shouldn't have to go down on him right after having our first baby. We're going to be busy....But he thinks that I should just suck it up, so to speak.
Is anyone else taking some time off? I feel like such a *** of a wife right now. We keep a pretty tight schedule of my wifely duties and I just hate to change the schedule

Yes. I don't think I would have had a child with this man. In fact, I think I would have not married a guy who made me give a scheduled blow job and who complained that I might not give one after giving birth to my child.

Wow! She sounds dumb for even having to ask this and her husband is an a**hole.

I don't think I touched H for 3 months after having M, and being husbandly, he never complained.

Sad. Really sad. If DH knew I hated doing x sexual act, he wouldn't continue to be turned on by 'scheduling' me to do it weekly for his own pleasure. Part of the sexual experience with a partner is mutual satisfaction (which can mean many things, I realize) not just obligation.

I'm all for scheduling sex when you've got a busy household, but scheduling bj's? No way in hell would that fly with me. He'd be out on his ass if he demanded that I do something I don't like that's purely for his benefit.

Yeah, wouldn't have a child with that man and would never, ever be able to listen to/acknowledge/respect a woman who used a term such as "wifely duties."
