8pm on a Saturday night
is the best time to go to Joann's.
This has happened to be several times lately - sewing all day Saturday, then realize I need a few more things. I always debate if I want to go out at that hour, but when the choices are 8pm on Saturday night vs noon on Sunday, I convince myself Saturday is better since it means I can start before 1pm on Sunday.
And then, I get there and have a blast. The store is empty and the workers are so friendly. Last night, when the elastic I picked up was not the clearanced one, she took me back to the elastic section and we went through every roll to pick the clearance ones. Good times!
Also, as a PSA, she told me the elastic was on clearance because they were getting rid of elastic by the yard!!!!!! I bought 20 years of 3/4 to 1.5 inch elastic for about $8. They might not have it anymore, but I'll have a stash lol

I stopped by last night hoping the Husquvarna people would still be there but no luck. The store was pretty empty but I had already shopped Friday afternoon so I got out of there before I spent more money!
