Would love to use my Cricut for Valentine's Treats for dd's class....
any suggestions or can anyone point me in the right direction for ideas? This was a Christmas present and I haven't yet taken it out of the box. I'm pretty crafty but I'm not very good at coming up with my own ideas....
Thanks so much!!!!
dd is 3 years old and has 12 classmates....

What cartridges do you have? Any yet?
You can buy cartridges that make boxes or bags, I know the basic Plantin Schoolbook does a few. Pick out some pretty paper (even Wal-Mart has started carrying holiday appropriate paper + accessories) and make some boxes or bags. The same cartridge has a heart (I believe), so cut out some hearts and use ribbon to make tags. Stamp them or write a sentiment and fill with candy.
I will have to check.... it's the cricut expression and we have ~6 cartidriges... (it's at my mom's house but I'll be going over there for dinner.) Thanks for the tips!
I saw the "Will you o-fish-ally be my valentine?"
http://www.tammymitchellphotography.com/2011/02/11/make-this-homemade-valentines-o-fish-ally-be-mine/
and I thought about doing that with a fish or something.....
That's definitely cute. You wouldn't even actually need a cartridge to do that, it's just a punch.
A fish would be cute too instead of the scallop circle. Great idea!
When I'm looking for new ideas, I just head to youtube and search cricut valentine's day or something similar.
I know! But I kind of feel since I just got the cricut, i need to use it!! I'm all about making things more difficult than they need to be, lol.
thanks again for the tips!
I think the fish valentine is adorable. I also think this is cute. You could use your cricut for the hearts.
