Hello ladies, "happy" start of the week!
I'm off to a great start. My alarm didn't go off but thankfully I was so nervous that I woke up and checked my clock anyhow. Thankfully it still gave me an hour to get ready. I'm not human if I don't have my coffee!
QOTD (since I'm going back to school): What was your favorite class when you were in high school?
For me, it was definitely anything social studies related.
Re: Good morning!
Good morning! I felt like curling up in a ball and ignoring the world when LO woke up this morning. I should have gone to bed earlier last night and am paying for it now. DH also got the stomach flu over the weekend, so he wasn't a big help with LO, which means I'm going into the week without my much-needed weekend break. Not that it's DH's fault, but still. I'm feeling very woe-is-me-y right now.
QOTD: Math and physics except for the applied part of physics where we had to build mousetrap cars and stuff. I liked formulas and paperwork, not trying to build the most aerodynamic paper airplane possible to beat out my classmates (although in retrospect we did do some pretty cool stuff like trying to design something using only toothpicks and newspaper that would protect an egg when it was launched about 50 yards by a trebuchet).
Morning. We overslept, but I guess that?s good. Just means I have an hour less time to myself since LO gets picked up at 12 from her daycare lady. But on the plus side I got an hour extra sleep, so I guess that evens it all out.
QOTD: I loved econ, but it was only one semester. Then probably German.
Good Morning!!
Monday was tax day around here. We met with the accountant to prepare DH's tax return for the last financial year. And then we treated ourselves with a lunch at the bakery across the street. Then we took his mother grocery shopping (and did our own for the week). We came home from the bakery with an apricot pie, which we will dive into as soon as the dinner dishes are done.
QOTD: I really enjoyed my Earth Science class, but I think that has as much to do with the great teacher as with the subject matter. The Earth Science lab was THE place to hang out in my high school, because the teacher was so cool. I learned through my reunion FB page that the school asked her not to return just four years after my class graduated. Their loss.
Morning! I've already been out and run errands - picking up a couple packages from the Royal Mail office, grabbed something to make for lunch and some more laundry soap. Planning on baking a nutella swirled cheesecake (I have cream cheese to use in the fridge), and possibly some apple cinnamon muffins today. I haven't even been to bed yet. D had a rough night with his two year molars, and JUST fell back to sleep after screaming all night. The teething gel/neurofen/popscicle combination just didn't work tonight for some reason.
QOTD: I loved my chemistry class. He was the best teacher in the school, and hot to boot. At least I paid attention!
Good Morning!
I have to go back to work today too. However, I am still sick and have like no voice so this should be fun.
QOTD: History and Spanish
Good morning! I was up until 2am watching a terrible game of football (stupid Steelers) so am struggling a bit on 4 hour's sleep. Fortunately, neither of my bosses are here today and I have a doctor's appointment this afternoon so I can leave early. Struggling!
QODT: I always loved English. And, until calculus, Math classes. It all went wrong at calculus though...
BFP Apr 2012, EDD Dec 19 2012 * twin h/b at 6wk, 9wk scan * Baby A lost at 12wks, Baby B was my rainbow born at 36wks
Morning. The cleaning lady is here. I'm trying a new cleaning service and so far I'm dubious. She was 30 min late and I gave her a ton of cleaning products, yet all I smell is window cleaner. She was using it to clean the sink. And I still hear her spraying it! That will not get rid of the hard water stains in my sink! Grrr. I wish I had the energy to do it myself.
QOTD: English. I had the best English teachers.
morning!
SS is still with us and we took him for a hot air balloon ride this morning.
I am also taking a "sick" day tomorrow so I'll have three days off in a row! WOHOO
QOTD: History.
Awesome! How was it?
It was pretty cool. There was only a little bit of wind so we didn't get to go very far, but at 4,000 feet we sure could see a lot.
We got to see kangaroos running away in the fields, the mountains and the orchards etc.
Good morning ladies. At least it's still kinda morning here.
I couldn't get to sleep last night, so a little tired today but not too bad. Just a busy day at work for me and then home to cook dinner and maybe make some more travel arrangements for this year. I got a bunch of annoying chores done yesterday, so this evening should be a bit more enjoyable!
QOTD: I always loved math and calculus. My dad is a math professor, so I guess it runs in the family.
Cecilia arrived 12 October 2012
Hi all! No big plans for the day, but I should really do some cleaning, since I spent all day yesterday reading and didn't lift a finger other than to microwave some leftovers.
QOTD: My high school kind of sucked.
My most useful class was my AP Senior English class, but it busted my ass and I still find my teacher too terrifying to go back and thank him for making me a better writer.
As for my favorite subject? I don't really know, now that I think about it. I liked math, but I had a couple of rubbish teachers, so maybe physics?
Morning! I finally put away the toys Aurelia got for Reyes and Christmas this morning. This afternoon I'll be teaching a conversation class. Just a regular day!
QOTD: I loved my Acting Workshop class. We did played improv games and learned all about stage acting. I took it every year. Haha. Other than that I loved Spanish which is what brought me abroad.
Good afternoon!
We were at a party last night, so I'm quite tired and a bit hung over. I had to get up early to bring M to school, we were a bit late and I had to carry him running the whole way! The rest of the day will be lazy until I pick him up at 4.
QOTD: I really enjoyed geography and photography.
Good morning, the H is back at work after 2.5 weeks off.
QOTD: Math and Model United Nations
Afternoon ladies! Not too much going on here, just work and laundry.
QOTD: Favorite class was probably English. I love reading.
Good morning! Last day on TN before GBCN for the bar exam, ugh!
Good weekend full of family and friends.
QOOTD: AP biology, loved it and my teacher
Good luck!
