Prenatal yoga near Hatboro?
I'd like to try a prenatal yoga class, but I have no idea where to go in the area we're living in now. Any recs in the Hatboro/Horsham area?
Re: Prenatal yoga near Hatboro?
I would not recommend the prenatal yoga that is offered through Abington Hospital. I only took two of the four classes I paid for because I wasn't seeing any benefits. It wasn't even all yoga - it was a random mix of some yoga poses and some weird stretches. Plus, there was no music and the bright florescent lights were on. Not exactly relaxing.
I believe Twisters has prenatal yoga but it is located in Flourtown.
As long as its ok with your doctor, you can continue to take regular yoga classes until your belly gets too big where you can't do the poses.

I happened to like the prenatal yoga class through Abington Hospital and 0602 is correct. It was in the community center right above the Super Giant in Willow Grove. I would pretty much drive by your house right now to get there. No, it wasn't in a yoga studio but there was music and our instructor was super nice. All of the lights were not on, either. I really think I benefited from it and I felt SO much better after going. You can also pay by the class and I believe you can try the first class out for free. I wasn't looking for any crazy yoga class and sometimes when you feel like a beached whale, you don't feel like doing downward dog. Our instructor was really great about that. I actually got a lot out of the stretching.
JamieDoll did the baby and me yoga with the same instructor and I know she liked it as well.
