So, to set the scene, my DD is a bit of a drama queen and very sensitive. Seriously the sweetest girl ever, but she's practically afraid of her own shadow.
I had just returned from a meeting at work this afternoon when DH called and said that the school nurse had been trying to call both of us for an hour. She had been trying to reach us on our cell phones- he's not allowed to bring his into where he works and I was in a meeting and not near mine. The nurse said "I'm really sorry to have to call and tell you this." Words which, naturally, had DH flipping the f out about what it could be.
The nurse said "Imogen was outside with a group of girls..." Which only made him freak out more because we always worry about Imogen and bullying since she is so tiny for her age.
Then the nurse continued "...and one of the girls took a flower and put it in some water and told them all to drink it and after they all drank it, she told them that it was going to turn them all into pixies. Imogen was here crying hysterically because she was terrified she was going to turn into a pixie. But don't worry, I calmed her down and she's back at class now taking a nap on the sofa."
Yesterday, a similar stunt had her convinced she was going to turn into a werewolf if she looked at the moon. Ah, sweet, gullible kids.

Poor Imogen, thinking she is going to turn into a pixie! She'd make an adorable one though.
It's true, she's tiny like a pixie and she's already got the pixie ears too! I don't know why she was so worried.

Every age is wonderful when you have a sweet little girl. Seriously, you're going to love every stage with Lila in ways and mourn them when they're gone. I think ages 3-6 have been my favorite few years so far though, because that's when you never know what they're going to say and they're constantly cracking you up!

Aaawww thats a sweet little story but I do agree with the overly dramatic voicemail from the school nurse.
