Weekly Checkin.

Its Monday again... How'd everyone do?

I lost 1lb. this week hitting my grand total of 10lbs since November 27th when I started tracking and working out regularly.

I've gotten back into running and tracking this week after not doing great over the holidays. I downloaded music to run with and it makes solo runs much more interesting.

Next week, I'd like to continue with what I did this week.

No a dissapointing note, I called DH HR to see how the WW program fee waiver worked and its only for employees :( I'm not sure if I want to pay the 43 dollars a month while I'm been successful on my own.

  • Well I am writing this as I am sitting in Burger King so that is not good. In my defense, I am babysitting my 3 year old nephew and brought him to play on the playground. I did make it to workout 4 times this week. No movement on the scale though.

  • I've lost 5 lbs in the past week because I've been barfing like a champion while on doxycycline. NO food appeals, DH even got me M&Ms and they made me ill. I can't wait until I'm off this crap on Saturday. In the meantime, I haven't run at ALL since last Tuesday because of doctor's orders. It's making me hyperventilate a little because it's like 10 weeks until my half marathon :p

  • As you can see by my ticker, I was successful in dropping 5 lbs this week! Woo hoo! I just started last Monday, so I was pretty happy with that, but I am aware of the fact that the first week is generally a bigger drop since the body is in shock! lol

    I am all set for this week - today was my first day back to work, so I am a little tired right now, but I am heading upstairs to change into my workout clothes and get something done today, even if it's 20 minutes on the elliptical. 

    January is already shaping up to be super intense, so I need to stick to my original plan and not get sucked into the 'stress eating' while making final assignments/exams and then marking them. I am really liking myfitnesspal.com though...and the best part is that it's FREE! Big Smile

    I went to the gym 3 times to run, and once for my first Zumba class last week. I've done the first three days of C25K and lost 3.6 pounds. So I think it was a good week :-)

    19 more weeks until vacation and 37 more pounds to lose.
