Jumping over from The Bump for a quick question. Didn't really know what board I should've posted this on, so I went with the obvious Crafts

I am looking to start my own Etsy shop - wanting to make and sell my own jewelry and probably accessories! I was told by another lady on the bump that she thought there was some information about Etsy on the FAQ's of the nest.

Does anyone know if this is right? And if so, how do I get to it? Thanks!

I would check the FAQs on this board and see if it's addressed. Look at the top of the board when you come to Crafts.

I think there is also a FAQ section on etsy that might help answer your questions.

Ditto the other posters. Also, Etsy has their own forums as well.

Good luck. It's not like something you can put no effort into. It takes quite a bit of work. Hopefully, your shop does well, but don't just slap it up and sit back and wait. Do a lot of promotional work and you'll succeed, just like any other job requires. And remember, don't post your Etsy shop on the Nest or the Bump. It's against TOS and can get you banned.

I am the leader of an Etsy Street team that is made up of all knotties, nesties, and bumpies. Its called the Knotties and Nesties Etsy team (creative i know lol)

I've had a shop since 2008. Its a TON of fun and VERY stressful all at the same time. It takes a lot of work.  Jewelry is a very saturated market on etsy so you will have to work extra hard to stand out. If you have specific questions I'd be happy to answer as best as I can.
