Work is canceled. Let's stay home in our PJs and order in some footrubs and baked brie. OK, I'm clearly dreaming here. What would you do if you didn't have to work today and you could do anything you want?

If everything on my schedule were cleared out, I'm pretty sure I'd be shopping or watching movies on the couch.  The BBC version of Pride & Prejudice is calling my name lately, and DH flat-out refuses to watch it.  LOL

i just wish lily would sleep. i was up all night sobbing bc she wouldnt sleep. it kills me evern more that dh slept fine all night and now i am here feeling like a zombie. i would like just a few hours to sleep

And wipe out my entire to do list. ENTIRE.

What I'd probably do is sit on the couch with the TV on and knit or play Bejewled on my iPad

If I was home from work, I'd be cleaning my house from top to bottom and planning our Super Bowl and Scarlett's First Birthday parties.

I'm not working these days while I live the grad student life, but I'd really like to not have to watch 4 hours of online lectures every day while I take an entire semester's worth of class crammed into 3 weeks. I'd much rather go to a yoga class and then meet a friend for a lunch and a walk, or work on some of the many projects we have going around the house. I need to paint the ceiling in our bedroom and finish painting the clouds on Kyva's so that we can have the ceiling fans that are on their way to us installed before I go back to campus on the 25th.

Yes, today needs to be canceled. Let's go back to about 8 months ago before DH got the first pressure sore that healed over fine but most likely led to the one he has now and start over. I don't have to work today but I do have to take my husband to the hospital. It's hard to picture what I would be doing when things are like this but I think I would be having a romantic night out with DH. I can't remember the last time we were able to do that and it will be a long time before we can.

As for me, I would enjoy a hot cup of coffee, go for a run, go shopping and get a massage.

Aw, I'm sorry. If I could I would send the sleep fairies over and they would put you to sleep and take care of Lilian if she woke up for at least the next 12 hours.
