Travel Challenge

I know this has been making the rounds on FB probably. I saw one friend who had it. I am not sure what the average is supposed to be. I know we are a big group of travelers here so I was just curious about everyon'es number

http://www.listchallenges.com/100places/

When you click save I guess it tries to sync with FB so it's blocked for me, but I got 37. There are so many i would love to add to my list.

  • 4. My life sucks, yo.

    Alamo

    French Quarter

    Chichen Itza

    Vegas Strip

BRB. Need to go rob a bank.

  • I've only been to 5. I am tempted to claim credit for the space needle since I was so close to it often, but I never officially went there.
  • I may be bitter than I only have 5, but I have less than no interest in some of these.  Hollywood Boulevard? Meh.  Sears Tower?  Why.

  • I am surprised that I hit 20.

Because there is a bar where you can wait 30 minutes to even get into, get $15 mimosas, and then get dizzy looking at the skyline below.  Duh.  :)

You should go to the 95th/96th floor of the Hancock building instead and enjoy a drink.  There's a fabulous view of the city, especially from the women's restroom.

Some of these are kind of random.  Why Portland Head Lighthouse and not Hilton Head.

There's nothing in Ireland on that list.

  • Is it shocking that there's less than 20 places on the list that I have a real desire to go to?
    image
  • Yeah, there are definitely several that are like  whaaa? Just like on the foods list.

  • imageBobLoblaw:

Yeah - I agree that it is kind of a random list, and when I got to Cliffs of Dover, I wondered about the Cliffs of Mohr and would they count instead? :)

  • 23.

That list makes me want to travel RIGHT. NOW.  Too bad travel = $$$$$$$$$.  I went to all 23 of those places before I graduated college so my parents covered it all.

  • 16, and I only got that far because NYC, DC, and Paris have multiple sights.  I'm not an adventurous traveler.
    image
  • I got 22, and I'm surprised I made it that high.  I don't think I'm extremely well traveled or anything.

I got help from NYC, Paris, and Rome too.
