The most time consuming project ever...DONE! (LIP)

When I was little, I would work and make little latch hooked pillows.  Took forever, but manageable.  Someone gave me a 4x6 100% wool kit that was started.  I've been working on this beast since Memorial Day 2011....like daily.  And I am so glad it's done.  And I don't know if I will ever attempt another of this size.  Here it is:

Wow! I have yet to finish a latch hook project...my mother still has all the one?s I started as a child. I guess DD will have to finish mine. But what a beautiful job!

I was expecting to see a pillow in your link as you never say anywhere in your post what this project is, but that rug is beautiful!  You did a great job.  Congrats on having your patience and perseverance pay off!

Wow that is lovely. And good work on powering through to the finish.  My Mom and I did one that large when I was a kid and I think it was on our dining room table for almost a year. 

It was of a giant blue goose.  At least yours is pretty

Wow! I tried to make a latch hook rug with t-shirt scraps. I think I got 20 pieces in before I called it quits. Your rug is amazing :-)
