I'm alive (and a little less stressed...)

Mr Mole is now no more! Appointment was at 8.30am yesterday and I was all done by 9.20am.  I'll have a 2 inch scar just over my right elbow.  But, god, it is sore now! And REALLY itchy...  Had to keep from bending my arm too much yesterday so couldn't really lift N up... she wasn't too happy about this...

Got to go back in 2 weeks to have the stitches removed and results of the biopsy so hopefully that should be that.

The childcare issue is not resolved (obviously! It was only 2 days ago!) but I'm a little bit less stressed about that and DH has said he is giving us a month to resolve it and it doesn't have to be rushed into.

Thanks for all the thoughts and hugs.

And Dublin, yes, Mikados and Kimberleys always make things better, especially chocolate kimberleys!!

  • That's great news! And plus, scars are sexy. Double great news!

Chronically hilarious - you'll split your stitches!
I wrote a book! Bucket list CHECK!
  • Yay for the mole being gone! And just curious, what does your DH have for a game plan if the childcare issue isn't resolved in a month? Hopefully it will be, but at least the way you wrote it makes it sound like he set a deadline.

  • Glad you are feeling less stressed. Keeping my fingers crossed for all good news.

It will be resolved in the month... our ideal would be for it to be a childminder but if we haven't found anyone in, say, 2/3 weeks then we look at the local creches (of which there are 2).  I just meant that he says we have a month to sort it out in that it doesn't "have" to be resolved right now and every waking moment focused on that and me stressing to high doe about it.  SIL might be leaving us in the lurch, but there won't be any day when we don't have a solution in between minders (she said she'd help out with settling in periods too)

    Does that make more sense?

  • Yeah bye bye Mr Mole!

Good that you are taking your time to find a childcare situation you're happy with, I'm sure you'll find the perfect place.

  • Glad your mole is gone! I had a similar procedure, and yeah, itchy. May your healing be quick!
