My friend and I had a discussion about this last night and it made me wonder what would you do?[Poll]

Are we talking a public restroom like the mall?  Because I would likely take it to the customer service desk hoping that the person would lost it would go there looking for it eventually.

Or are we talking a public restroom off the street in some down town city?  Because that would be a different story.

If there was somewhere I could "turn it in", I would. If not, I'd just leave it (and be disappointed that I really want said item but wouldn't buy it myself probably).

If it was a mall I'd do customer service, so someone else doesn't steal it.  I think we've all left something before & I just can't take something that's not mine.

I would feel guilty keeping whatever the item was even if I loved it.

 Me too, I believe in karma and taking something that is not yours is not good!

Same here. 

Although it was a lot more than $25, I left my camera at a Starbucks once and cried when I realized I'd left it there.  No one ever turned it in.   It had lots of pics on there that I am heartbroken over losing.  I wouldn't do that to someone else.
