Professional Photo Printing, Please HELP!

I'm wanting to put a display of 6 pictures in our hallway from milestone moments in our marriage (i.e. engagement, wedding, honeymoon, etc.). I want them to be 8x11 black and white. I took my photos to be printed at Staples and they looked absolutely horrendous. Since then my husband and I have been searching for professional printers in our area and cannot find one! The only one we did actually find was charging $35  per print (out of our budget). Would appreciate any suggestions on this! Many thanks!!

  • I asked our photographer this very same question last night and she reccomended Mpix.com

The prices are reasonable. You could print one and see how you like it before printing more?

  • I have a friend that owns a photo printing business in Mesa.  Very affordable and very high quality:  Faville Photo

  • Costco has impressed me lately and I've also heard Tempe Camera does a great job

  • I was going to say Mpix also especially because they have specific paper just for B&W! I love Mpix! Great quality for an affordable price!

I already got the pictures printed by a company named Faville but will definitely keep this in mind next time around. I was OK with the outcome of the prints but not totally sold.

WISH I READ YOUR POST BEFORE! I already got the pictures printed and spent $85 for 6. The quality is OK for b&w but you can see the grainy parts. I'm going to surf this site and see if it's not too expensive I can have them reprint them. Thanks.

  • little late but i also am very happy with costco's printing. you're able to turn off the auto correct setting and leave the colors/settings how they were edited
