Any info about rent to own?
Had our house on the market 2 years ago and was told by our realtor we'd have to drop our price about 20-25k to even have a chance to sell (townhouse in a development w/ about 20+ for sale). We weren't willing to walk away w/ no $$ when the year before we had well over 20% equity.
Fast forward about 3 months ago and we have someone we know who wants to buy our place in the future but we both need so save $$ and said we'd look into things about April/May 2013.
Fast forward to 2 days ago and same couple are looking to get out of their apartment lease b/c of very very horrible neighbors. Asked if we'd be willing to do a rent to own thing b/c they know we really want out (2 bedroom and I'm pg now w/ #2) and they really really like our house.
I know NOTHING about rent to own and was just wondering if anyone has done or knows pros/cons?
