wait, why is cereal milk gross?  I don't understand - if you want to eat your cereal with milk, why wouldn't you drink all the milk in the bowl?  or use less milk so that the ratio is perfect?

I can't explain it. In my world cereal milk is gross. I like each kernal of cereal to be saturated in milk, but I refuse to drink the milk. 

Also, when I'm at home leave the last inch or so of beverage in a glass. I can't drink that. Don't ask me why, but I don't like that last inch of liquid.  When I'm out I finish my drinks, I just can't do it at home.

first, i think cereal is empty.. i always feel more hungry afterwards so i don't usually eat it.. but if i do, i would NEVER drink that milk, barf.

i need milk to be nice and cold.. any other way it's not happenin!

Absolutely this. Cereal milk is especially gross to me -- it's all warm and nasty.

H is the same way about food, drinks etc.  He always likes to leave just a little behind.

Me too. I love cereal milk. It has the flavor of whatever cereal you just ate. And I tend to eat my cereal as dry as I can with just a touch of milk. I prefer it crunchy.

If the cereal gets super soggy, I throw it all away, the milk and the cereal.

if I finish the cereal before it gets anywhere near soggy, I drink up the milk too.

if you love cereal milk, you need to make the cereal milk custard recipe from the milk bar (it's also in momofoku's book).

This!  Milk is only for cereal (just enough so it's not dry) and coffee.  Otherwise, gross.  I would NEVER drink a glass of milk.  Recently, I've been using Almond Milk in my cereal.

I eat my cereal dry. If I do put milk l, no matter how fast eat, it still gets too soggy. Ick..

H and I both drink milk and eat lots of cereal, we go through at least a gallon a week... eek!

my h is somewhat lactose intolerant (only in big doses), so he doesn't drink full glasses of milk...he might have a sip of mine occasionally...but i, alone, go through a gallon a week. milk is my drink of choice when water gets boring.

I'm sorry, I can't explain it either. I've tried filling the glass with less liquid, but I still can't drink the last inch. 

Obviously, this only applies to non-alcoholic drinks.

I did just remember that I have this problem with sandwiches and sometimes burgers.  Like, I get so full and it seems ridiculous to leave behind one inch on sandwich, but I just can't :-/
