I actually enjoyed work today. Coirker was out of the office. YAY! I think she is getting fired on Friday. Fingers crossed.

Right now I'm laying on the couch watching Simon and Darcy play and trying to decide what to have for dinner. And I need to find some motivation to do some laundry and clean the kitchen. 

And I'm FREEZING. I need to just break down and turn the heat up since I can't have a fire tonight because we are on a burn ban.

I blogged. And now I'm watching Midnight in Paris. It's usually not my cup of tea but I actually think it's kind of cute. Owen Wilson is whiny and annoying but I like all of the historical references in the movie.

I'm also stalking my video baby monitor. My kid is so damn cute when he sleeps. SOOOOO cute. Sigh.

I'm feeling some anxiety. I scored well last year, and I anticipate I'll do well this year (provided I didn't grow dumber), but the overmanning in my career field in certain ranks makes for a really high cutoff score. I know I'll feel confident about my knowledge, only to be sad when the list comes out, despite being fully aware of the lack of slots available. Plus, now that we've lowered HYT, I have a feeling all the bums who intentionally played dumb (to avoid the increased responsibility that comes with promotion) will magically get their acts together so they don't get forced out without a pension.

I babysat my cousin's 10 month old again today ( I will be doing so til March).  He was really fussy because he is getting teeth and I just felt so bad for him.  Now I'm just hanging out with the dogs.  I know I'm super exciting.

I had a great day at work (loooove teaching Keats' poetry!), read Harry Potter with the big kid after dinner, and just finished 2.5 miles on the treadmill.  Now I get to shower and read until I fall asleep.

H just left for work and in between reading and watching NCIS. Today was a wonderful day at work, the Dr. finally gave me some really encouraging words about how I'm doing. He's from Russia and is very straight forward and rather "cold", but that's just how he is and he doesn't mean anything rude by it.

I worked today. Then after work I took the dog for a walk until a fellow military spouse asked me over for dinner and to help take down some really ugly wallpaper in her house. Who knew peeling wallpaper would be so almost therapeutic.

Tomorrow is my day off and I have fun plans for the day! A trip to the doggy park and to get my nails done.

It's only 630, but I'm starved and haven't heard from H.  The wine is calling my name, and so is the awesome crab ramen at the restaurant next door.  If I don't hear from him in 15 minutes, I'm getting dinner on my own.

It's Thursday, here.  We had a play date this morning with one of my favorite paydate dates and now I am trying to work up some motivation to finish the stuff I need to before I go to a meeting tonight.  I need to make a new blog, my old one is all in Japanese and I can't log in to it, and it keeps messing with my Gmail account.  Wordpress, here I come!

I did the usual run around with taking Julia to and from school and left my van there because her concert (first one!) is tonight.

But then, at home, the boys all started acting up.   So now I have to stay home with them and miss the concert - some days, I swear these kids have a bet going against my sanity.

Just finished making and wrapping 2 baby seat covers for some friends that are expecting girls. Otherwise I finished watching Season 2 of Justified before Season 3 premieres next week. Probably will finish the day with Jersey Shore and reading my book. I'm counting down the days until vacation which is terrifying and exciting.

I hosted a Scentsy lunch at Olive Garden with some of the ladies.  Then a few of us held an impromptu coupon class for a new wife. 

My 5th grader had a basketball today.  Her coach is a douche. The girls have had more instruction from the refs than they have from the coach.  He spent the entire half time in the bathroom and then at the concession stand.  He told the girls to "do what ever" until he got back.  I had to gather them up and then give them instructions on how to at least try to play.  The score at half time was 34-0 for the other team.  The final score was 44-2.
