My grandpa died on Tuesday
In the early morning in his sleep. We had his funeral yesterday and it was really nice, despite my grandma's best efforts to make it not happen (I can't even get into it all, but she fought my mom and her siblings every step of the way with every decision they tried to make).
My sister, me and a couple of cousins were pallbearers, which was actually really nice.
It was sad, but it was a nice day spent talking about his life and looking at pictures of him.
I broke down a bit talking to BF on Skype last night, but I'm ok. He had a long and happy life and he died peacefully.

I'm glad you could be there. Yes it's sad that he died, and I'm sorry, but everybody has to die and it sounds like it was an all around good experience. I'm glad he had a good life and good death.
