Does this exist?

I really want to do something new with my hair. I tend to end up with it in a bun or ponytail all the time out of sure laziness and because it annoys me when it is down. I'm wondering if a short look might look good and not annoy me. But I'm too afraid to try it. LOL.

Is there a program out there where you can kind of see what you'll likely look like with different cuts or something ?

Re: Does this exist?

  • Not sure.  But recently i mentioned to my MIL that i wanted bangs.  She suggested I got to a wig shop & try on some wigs to see how i would look.  maybe you could try that?  (I ended up just getting the bangs, but i thought it was a good idea).

  • There definitely is, I believe I saw it on the Cosmo website a looooong time ago.  I could be off about that part, but it's definitely out there.  I'm the same with my hair though & it's in a ponytail everyday. Although a few years ago I chopped it all of to chin length & it was way too much maintenance for me. Long hair doesn't need to be "styled", short hair does.

I agree. I have longer hair, it has shape & style but it's so much easier than when I had short hair.

  • i think short hair is much easier. i did specify that i wanted something that looked good after being air dried with a brush just run through it. they offset my part and put lots of texture at the ends for volume, but not actual layers. my hair is fine, straight, and i have a LOT of hair (it looks like normal because it's so fine), and when it was long, i'd form a dreadlock in my hair if the wind blew too hard.
