Epileptic seizure response dogs?
Does anyone know anything about epileptic seizure response dogs? A friend of mine is looking into finding a dog for her son, but I have a feeling she is woefully unprepared for the potential cost/training involved. Can the pesties help?
Re: Epileptic seizure response dogs?
Look into service dog organizations. Your friend might want to check with her insurance to see if they will cover the cost of a dog.
My guess is that her best bet is going to get a dog who is already trained to respond to those signals that a person might give off directly before a seizure.
