thanks ladies.  It's been the queen of shittty weeks. 

To put things in a nutshell, I'm trying to get one of our girls in our acute treatment unit.  There was a bed open.  They told me to take her to the hospital to get her medically cleared before she could come.  I did so.  Mind you, I was after 6pm when we left.  After beign at the hospital a few hours, the social worked called our acute treatment unit to work out her transfer, all of a sudden they aren't accepting her.  So I'm at the hospital til almost 11 for no reason.  They can't place her anywhere else.  I would have never taken her to the hospital if they didn't tell me to do so.  Then didn't accept her.  I was effing livid.

I didn't come in today til after 11, and told my supervisor I was leaving early.  And I told her I wanted someone's head on a flucking platter for what happened last night.

oh, and apparently the reason she was suddenly not accepted, is that they decided they needed to leave that bed open in case someone with insurance needs it.

Agreed.  And the whole computer thing alone would have me in tears for weeks.  Hope you enjoyed your margaritas last night.  And, I also hope that you get to get out of that job soon and spend more time doing what you love!
