Three Things Thursday
Here's a new one I thought we could try with a different subject every week. Whoever posts it first gets to pick the topic.
So in the premiere post of "Three Things Thursday"....
"What are three things that made you fall in love with your DH/FI?"

1. He's super intelligent and keeps me on my toes.
2. He has very traditional values and I knew he'd be on board with me being a SAHM one day, which is something that has always been important to me.
3. I'm definitely the outgoing "crazy" personality in our relationship, so he balances me out really well by being more reserved and somewhat quiet.
1. His sense of humor. He always knows how to make me laugh.
2. His drive. He has always been very ambitious! He won't let anything get in his way when he sets his mind to something.
3. The way he balances out my crazy OCD side. He is very laid back about everything and I always need to have a plan. He always makes me realize that most of the time my plans don't really matter... Life will happen the way it's meant to happen. He really keeps me grounded...

1. He's ginormous. And I say that in a loving way, haha. He's 6' 6" and I absolutely love that he can just pick me up and throw me over his shoulder like it's nothing. It makes me feel less worried about my weight. (and it's fun being lazy and letting him carry me around sometimes).
2. He is so forgiving. I forgive most people, but sometimes it takes awhile. He's really good at loving me constantly. When I'm low, I need that.
3. TOTAL SWEETHEART. And I'm not saying that as his wife. My sister was friends with him before I met him, so she is one of the people that can fully defend his big heart. I hold his mother responsible (since his parents are divorced). He just has such a "gentle giant" attitude and it's really attractive.
** We met at a summer camp, so I also love how he's wonderful with kids.

1. He can always make me feel better, no matter what's got me upset.
2. He's a great father to our boys. Every time I see him with them and the way they all play together makes me fall in love a little bit more.
3. He's so open to trying/doing new things. I've always loved to do things spontaneously and he's always catered to my crazy whims. It's been so fun to look back at our crazy adventures together.

3. His sense of humor. He's outgoing, funny, charming, active, has many interests that we share and differ from mine.

Losing it...Without Losing it
1. How giving he is. He will do anything for his loved ones and will always put them above himself (almost to a fault.) It's more important to him that his loved ones are taken care of than himself.
2. His sense of humor. He's hilarious but not a lot of people know this about him because he's shy.
3. He gets me and I don't have to explain myself to him. He understands why I'm emotional sometimes or why some things are important to me when they don't seem all the significant. He also always knows what I'm talking about. I don't know how many times I've said "can you hand me that thing by the thing" and he knows exactly what I'm talking about.
Haha! Love it.

1. His gentle personality. I am hectic and ALL over the place so his calmness definitely balances me out.
2. His dependability. Not only is he reliable for me, but he is a great friend to others. I know that if I ever needed him, he would be there for me.

At first glance, I saw this and thought it said "short and well-rounded". I was picturing a short little round man like Danny Devito.
Hahahah! Nope, I'm 5'7 and could wear 4" heels and still be shorter than DH. Too funny! I changed it so it flows better now.
