favorite vegan/green beauty products
I have been eating a vegan diet for about a year, but now am looking adopt a more vegan/green lifestyle beyond food. Does anyone have any recommendations for cruelty-free, organic, green, whatever beauty products?
A few things I am currently using are: Trader Joe's Tea Tree Oil Shampoo and Conditioner, Everyday Minerals foundation, Crazy Rumors lip balm, Preserve toothbrush and razors. But I am still looking for a face moisturizer, nail polish, shave gel, sunscreen, and toothpaste recommendations, etc. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

I don't use facial moisturizer; instead i use the oil cleansing method and my face stays non-greasy and not dry. (I use avocado oil, or EVOO+castor.)
My favorite toothpaste is Jason brand Sea Fresh

Beautiful Curls. . . I thought it would be the pits but I have actually tried it with the curl activator and it made my curls so much more defined.
I am actually looking into getting the deep conditioner and the mousse. You can get it at Whole Foods or any other store as such.

I don't know if they are vegan.....but for sunscreens I like: Yes To Carrots has a 30spf body lotion that I like, Badger Balm works well (albeit really thick)....and I just found KidSport spray. safemama.com has some good reports/advice about suncreens and tests new ones every year.
Jojoba oil is a great moisturizer for hair/skin/face. Trader Joe's has it.
I like Skin Gel &Herbs by Aloe Life for moisture too. It is just aloe with a vew vitamins and herbs to help preserve it.
Homemade flax seed gel works great if you need a hair gel.
I use Alba moisturizers, I buy them in bulk at vitacost.com to save some $$
I use Origins (from the dept store) eyeliner, eyeshadow, and powder.
I use Tarte mascara, illuminizer serum and powder, cheek tint sticks, and blush
I use Desert Essence shampoo, which all smell heavenly.
I think that Lush products are trendy and just "ok". I occasionally pick something up from there, but I never buy it twice.
All of these cost more than their drugstore counterparts, but they are all amazing and highly rated on beauty sites.
