Tarheels saved the day

I got a call this morning that I had to bring something for my mom's group tomorrow.  Since we are HOPEFULLY moving I've been trying to work through my stockpile of baking stuff.  I've already shopped this week and we've eaten all of the bananas.  I've also used the last of my frozen zucchini from the summer.  I have no nuts, no chocolate chips. It's cold and raining and I have a teething child.  I want nothing to do with leaving the house.

Then I remember a time when Tarheels was raving about a box of pumpkin bread.  I randomly saw it discounted at Walmart so I bought a box.  I didn't really want to mess with slicing up the bread or doing muffins, but lo and behold there was an idea for a bundt cake!

Guess who'll be showing up tomorrow with a beautiful pumpkin bundt cake?  I did take the recommendation and tasted the glaze.  I made my own.
