Holy cow, I just realized that H and I met 7 years ago in January 2005. How time flies!
I was thankful that afterschool activities were canceled, so I left school early enough to beat the bad weather/drivers. Still took about 40 minutes compared to the normal 15 minutes though.
I'll be extremely thankful if we get a snow day tomorrow. I doubt it though.
I was hoping for a snow day today and then was hoping for tomorrow but no such luck. Today should have been. Although where I work the roads were not as bad as where Iive. We didn't have that much snow or ice but put together it was bad and the highway dept didn't start clearing and pouring salt early enough.
I am thankful that the snow is staying away and we are just getting crazy wind now.
I am thankful for Saturdays when I can sleep in and 3 day weekends!
I am always thankful for DH!
I am thankful that Fridays are jeans days! I got way too excited when I realized that this morning.
And I am thankful for the Wovel. It took DH all of 20 min to shovel our driveway last night. That was less than the 40 min it took me to drive the 4 miles home.
And I am thankful that DH and I met 5 years ago this month! And two years ago we hadn't even decided on a wedding date yet!
And I am thankful for a good job with good health Insurance. And thankful my doctor belongs to a group that provides a great after hours clinic!
I am thankful for DH who is a wonderful husband and father, and who makes me laugh every day.
I am also so thankful that we have such a wonderful group of family and friends surrounding and supporting us. Since the baby was born we have had so much love and support, people bringing food and offering to watch the baby and coming over just to visit and keep me company. At first it was overwhelming because I was so tired but now it is so so so greatly appreciated.
I am thankful that I am able to start going back to the gym soon. I really enjoy exercise and running and during pregnancy was bummed that I couldn't exercise like I used to.
I am thankful for my new kindle!
I am thankful for my new job.
I am thankful that we found a sitter who is only taking half of what we offered to pay her (she's a friend of the family looking to help us out).
I am thankful we have good friends coming over for lunch tomorrow.
I am thankful for my healthy and happy little girl.
