***Wannabemomma*** and ***Knare***

I want to thank you for the recommendation for Dr. Edelman.  I was expecting the worst (personality wise) and I really liked him!  (Maybe I should think about the doctors that I'm seeing, if I thought he was great-lol).  On Tuesday, we were there for 2.5 hours because yes - he was very thorough.  He used the scope, which none of the other ENT's used.  Since DS is not sick right now and his adenoids are pretty enlarged (70%), he is going take them out on Tuesday along with his tonsils.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he stays well until Tuesday!

Thanks again!

  • Oh good, I am glad you had a really good experience.  I thought the second time we saw him he was much more compassionate, so I know he has that side.  Just a note that I found out from many parents I met in the waiting room that if you have an appt later in the day that you can be waiting quite a while as he is very thorough and his appt. tend to run over their alotted time.  Good luck Tuesday!

  • Thanks!  It's funny when I made the appointment she told me 11:45.  When I asked when the next 9am appointment was, she told me, "Not until February".  We got there at 11:20 and waited about 30-40 minutes, but it didn't seem like it because I had all of that paperwork to fill out.  We finally left at 2 and he either doesn't take a lunch break or he must eat a quick lunch in between patients because he was there the whole time.  lol
