I'm considering permanent makeup

For my eyebrows.  My friend just had it done and it looks very natural.  It would only be a few hundred dollars and would last pretty much forever.  I am going to make an appointment for a consultation.

I have really blonde, thin eyebrows and when I work out and wipe my face, I end up wiping them off too and I hate how that looks.

  • Don't do it!!! I've seen it so many times and I can always tell.

And remember GRAVITY!!! It may look okay now, but your skin will staart to sag and they won't stay in the same place!

  • Zip it!

I have an aunt with tattoo'd eyebrows.  They look natural from afar but up close its really weird.  She is known as the creepy aunt to all the little kids in the family.

I guess it can look okay on some folks, but I can tell you it doesn't look good on everyone.

    Good luck either way!

  • My dad's friend's wife did this.. you couldn't tell, but you couldn't tell becuase she wore far too much make up all the time.

It would work, but it would take forever to get the right shade for it to look natural..

as awful as this would sound.. you could do a color test on the bottom of our foot.. that skin sheds so frequently the strip of color would be gone in no time.

(We have a friend who practices on her husband's foot)

  • I agree with PP, my grandma has them done and it does not look natural at all.

Be careful, and research a ton before you get them done.

This. Just my opinion though. You are too pretty to take the chance of flvcking anything up on your face

  • I would be getting it done at my plastic surgeon's office and honestly, I have seen very, very bad results, but hers look great.

It is more or less just a very light shading in of the brows, not totally drawing them on or anything.  My eyebrow hairs will be the most prominent thing.

Well, this is why I am going for a consult anyhow.

  • I would be a little afraid of this. I think i would try to dye them before I tattooed them but that's just me.

  • I have to agree with everyone else on this as well. I think you are beautiful just the way you are. Stop staring in the mirror. You are your own worse critic. You know I loves you!
  • Its only a consult guys!

  • I'd rather have my stylist just darken my brows a little bit with hair dye.  GL with whatever you choose!

  • There's no harm in going for a consult.

That said, I believe that this might look OK on some people, but I personally have never seen it.
