It's tomorrow - starting at 8 am.
Cool thing, though, they said so long as you show up, you are guaranteed an audition (though you might have to go to a different time).
He's a solo guitar player though if he found a band as dedicated as he is he'd be willing.

Yes yes, best of luck to him! I really hope his story and skills get noticed and he makes it onto the show, that would be so very cool!
Sidenote, I think it's really odd they picked Howard Stern to replace Piers. It is a family show, and I never really thought HS would be "family friendly" but we shall see how it goes!

They said people that do their own material rarely go through, but I'm just glad he's doing something! this will be his first audition.
If he doesn't get far here I'm giong to sign him up for anything that'll take a guitar player!
I am a Stern fan and loyal listener. His off air personality is different than his on air. He's such a bright, level headed guy. He found a schtick and capitalized on it. I am eager to see him on the show. I hope he gets a better rep other than just his comedic, often taboo bits.
I have mixed feelings about him. I don't have satellite radio so I don't currently listen to him but sometimes I would watch his show on E! back in they day when they showed it.
He really annoys me sometimes and I know he goes for the "shock value" a lot of times but it can just be over the top to me. Then again, it's been years since I've listened, so my opinion of him isn't based on any recent stuff.
It will be interesting, to say the least, and it was an unexpected pick to me, but I will still watch!
