GTG 2.0...2012 style :)
Last night on chatzy the talk of another big GTG came about.
November 2-4 in Nashville.
We don't have many details worked out at all. If anyone knows anything about Nashville (cough, cough bbetson! 
) and has suggestions for hotels, things to do, etc. definitely suggest those things.
As with Indy - everyone is invited. We are hoping with 10.5 month notice that a bunch of people will be able to make the trip.
Thoughts? Ideas?

I think it sounds like a fantastic idea, my only hangup (personally) is I'll still be on maternity leave and may not have the cash. I'll have an answer when it comes time for reservations.

Sounds great. I would really love to come and its close enough that I can drive it, but I'm hoping pending developments mean that I'm won't be able to ( if you catch my drift)
So I'll have to play this one by ear and see how things are looking in the next few months.
Dill, Emily mentioned that it's a less than 5 hour drive for you guys. Hopefully you Cinci girls can all make it and ride together.

Actually it hits perfectly in my schedule, I will only have to take one day of PTO and that would be the Monday after so I can recover or get home depending on how I get there.
DO IT. It's worth the drive to snuggle with me.

Nashville is an easier drive than Gatlinburg or Chicago from Cincy, I think it's like 4 to 4.5 hours pending traffic and how close to the highway your house is, in cincy that can take a good 30 minutes. LOL!
Oooh, I want to come! I have never been to Nashvill and have wanted to go for awhile now!
Although, I will hopefully be pregnant by fall so I'm not sure how much fun I'll be.
. . . . oh . . . . my . . . . god . . . . . how WEIRD is that?

Is this Settlers of Catan?? Anyway, I hope to be in but it will be TOTALLY up in the air for a while. DH and I are hoping to go to ID in Sept for a family wedding, which will eat up any money I might be able to use...

We should organize a GTG out west somewhere, like Denver, for those of us that live very far away from Nashville.

I'm definitely flying to Nashville-- I don't think I can do 9 hours back to MI after a super fun weekend! It will be well worth the $300 flight.
Pending anything major popping up, I am in! I have never been to Nashville, and I have always wanted to!
Any of my fellow NY'ers considering going? (Naylon, Heather, I am talking to you!)
I hear ya on that. I had to double check missouri's schedule for that same reason.
Too far in advance to know! I'd have to wait a while before committing.
The one problem I foresee is that I'm already doing a girls weekend with my friends from college this year to celebrate all of our 30th birthdays, so I could see DH objecting to two vacations without him/Nora within a few months. That might not fly.
