What is the most amusing thing...

your pet has done lately?

It's been so boring around here lately, let's liven it up a little. :) Share your funny stories.

Lucky and Penny got zoomies at the same time today. They were sprinting across the house (starting on opposite sides) and crashed into each other face first. They were okay, so it was hilarious.

  • I love watching Bella play in the snow.  She absolutely adores it.  We FINALLY got some last night and when I first took her out in it she just went nuts.  Spinning in spider monkey circles, biting it, tuck butt zoomie-ing across the yard.   It was hilarious.
  • Gloria rolled over in her sleep the other day while on the bed.  Even though she was smack dab in the middle of the bed, she woke thinking she was falling over the edge and let out a terrified (and loud) yelp.  It's hard to describe, but it was hilarious.

  • Both dogs have decided that the baby's tummy time mat makes a great place for a nap.

  • Dogs seem to have a sixth sense for finding the most soft available laying space.  The result?  Adorable photos like the above.  :)  So cute!

  • You'd think with 5 cats I'd have something! But, I don't. They like to snuggle my belly, but I don't know how to PIP from my iPod.

  • Molly has now decided that her "job" is to grab all of the toys out from Hawk's stash (under the bed) and bring them to the couch.  They obviously belong there instead...

  • Yesterday H and I came home from the store to see Dakota stuck in the window...

See, we're moving and had put boxes in front of the window - she had some how climbed between the boxes and the window and couldn't figure out how to get out. Don't worry, it had been a quick trip to the store (only about 15-20minutes) so she hadn't been there TOO long, she was ok and we got her down quickly! But it was still pretty funny!

I found one! L's new thing is to run laps while you are getting her food ready. She runs from the kirchen through the dining room and living room, and back into the kitchen. If you aren't ready yet, she goes again. It's certainly amusing!

  • Pete's been on a roll lately.

It snowed a bit Wednesday evening, enough to cover the ground. Petey jumped on our glass-top patio table, lost his footing, and slid on his butt across the snow-covered table. It happened in slow motion, and was hilarious. I also posted earlier this week about him eating my cereal that was on the kitchen counter.

During a zoomy-chase session, Bently grabbed Petey by the hind leg in an effort to slow Pete down. It didn't help much, so Petey was running on 3 legs with Bently literally at his heels.

Napoleon was trying to retrieve a toy from under the entertainment center. Petey ran up to help, and the dog and cat worked together to retrieve the tennis ball. It was freaking adorable!

DH fell asleep on the couch last night, and I didn't want to wake him. (It's been a rough week, and I knew he hadn't been sleeping well.) DH told me that Leo snuggled all night with him. Leo's not a snuggler, and Leo doesn't like DH.

Edited because I managed to leave out a few words. Sorry.

  • I've got 2 parakeets, The Fugitive and Batgirl.

Fuge and Batty are busily chirping away and the like...my dog is in the living room near their cage...and he's softly howling as they chirp.
  • I'm in SC for a show, and did FaceTime with DH last night. I made him show B my face on the screen, and poor B was totally confused. He could see me, he could hear me, but I wasn't petting him. He just kept doing his scottie head tilt, back and forth. It was so cute, but just made me miss him even more.
