Hosting candle party ?

I am hosting a scentsy party at my house. If you're not familiar w/ scentsy it's candle warmers and things like that. The party is on a Saturday from 3-5pm for all ladies! Need help figuring out the menu. TIA!

Re: Hosting candle party ?

  • I'd probably do some appetizers and dessert.  If I had to set a menu this minute I would do some spanikopita, beef crostini, pasta salad skewers (tortellini, olives, cherry tomatoes, cheese marinated in a vinagrette), then a tray of carrots, celery, cucumber, crackers, veggie dip and a shrimp dip.  For desserts I'd bust out the fondue pot and do a chocolate fondue with bananas, pineapple, pound cake, and pretzels.

I might even borrow a fondue pot, skip the veg tray and do a cheese fondue with broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, and kielbasa.

  • Hi, if my post isn't too late...

I'd do a couple savory options - simple things like cheese & crackers, chips and spinach dip, a veggie tray.  Then 2 sweet options - cookies and brownies maybe.   Be sure to have coffee along with your regular beverages, since many people get their afternoon slump at that time. Have fun!
