Re: First Tri is never boring...

  • Whoa.  Indifferent
these pretzels are making me thirsty.
  • *comes out of lurking*

Dear god that's a train wreck! *eats popcorn*

    Anniversary
  • I refuse to believe that is true. when I was pregnant...the doctors wouldnt even allow me to ride in a humvee. something about the vibrations or something..
If you knew better, you'd do better.
  • Holy sh!t. If I ever get that hormonal someone please hit me. I got whiplash from them going from anger to puppy farts and back again. And wtf is up with the lamest threadjack ever wherein we get to hear about some woman alone in Italy? Also, I kinda like Caser. He's a well thought out character. Maybe when OP is done fighting with 1st tri and making up doctors she called and boyfriends who swoop in to the rescue she can write short stories. This "I'm only 16 but we'll take on the world together and ride all the rides!" ish would sell like hotcakes to the Young Adult market.
  • I do kind of want to add though, I know a lot of women who have continued to ride during their pregnancies. They don't compete anymore obviously but a light work out had been doctor approved. When I asked my gyno out of curiosity she said, "You'll know when you have to stop. Your baby is really well protected in there.". Usually you just reach a point when it's hard to get on the horse with your big 'ol belly and you take some time off by necessity. I side eye the people who act like women are made of glass and should do nothing but sit still. If you're high risk then by all means yes, you are absolutely doing the right thing. But in a healthy pregnancy it seems like an excuse. If we were all so fragile then the human race would not have made it through the first several thousand years of our existence.
  • What the actual hell? He was accepted to Cornell, Harvard, Princeton and "whatever" the other Ivy League schools are called? Shouldn't he know where he applied and was accepted? And does he realize no one will care that he got accepted and then couldn't go because he decided to have a baby with a teenager with poor writing skills instead?

I also love how he thinks telling people to Google his name proves something. Did you guys know that I'm Princess Kate?

Shut up, 8days!  We all know that's me.

  • My favorite thing about the Bump is the creative phrases that pop up there.

Like: "There are many other ways you could of handled this."

And: "TB is and always will be chuck full of hormonal women."

    Love it.

I agree with everything that muddled said. You should listen to her. -ESDReturns
