This is ever so slightly different from the amusing things your pet did thread! (Which means I didn't see it until after I posted.
)
Re: Adorable things your pet does.
Sometimes while he's sleeping he rolls onto his back and sticks his legs in the air.
Maxx does this. I swoon every time he does it. I wish he did it every time.
He totally adores my father, and everytime he comes to visit, as soon as he hears movement downstairs, which is very early as my father is an early to rise, early to bed kind of guy, he goes to the door and waits for you to open it and goes tearing down the stairs to go find him.
I love the way he walks with a strut when he thinks he's accomplished something, or taken something he's not supposed to. It's so cute.
One of my childhood dogs would add a really loud 'YEEOOOOOOWWW' every time he yawned. It was so cute and adorable.
When Patches is excited to see us if we've been away for a while, he gets the wiggles - his whole body just goes back and forth in delight and it melts my heart.
When Strummer was a puppy I would sit down in front of his crate in the morning and when I opened it he would lie down in my lap and make the cutest grunting noises. Now he does it when I give him a good scratching.
Abbey comes in for her breakfast and if you arent moving fast enough she will let out a beagle howl. It's really cute.
Carl is adorable
Cooper loves cardboard. We have a paper bag next to our garbage can where we put paper recycling. I'll toss egg cartons, Wheat Thin boxes & cereal boxes in there along w/newspaper & etc. We'll come home from work & there will be shredded boxes all over the living room floor! Its hilarious! A couple times a week he just goes & picks out that certain "something" from the bag, carries it into the LR, & shreds it! Lately he's been doing it in front of me when I go to get my shoes on (in the kitchen) to go for a walk. I'll be tying my laces & he'll be standing there waiting, then he'll go over to the bag, dig around for that "something" pull it out, run into the LR, shred it, then come back to the kitchen ready to go for a walk. Lol!
We also trained him to grab a toy whenever he's excited, like if someone comes to the house or when we come home...etc. Its super cute b/c he'll be looking out the front window, someone will pull in the driveway & he'll get allllll excited, then he'll run over to his toy box or run around the LR looking for a certain toy (it varies each time), he'll grab it & then run back to the front window or over to the garage door in the kitchen holding his toy, wagging his nub tail 100 miles a minute. Its super cute!
He also does the vocal yawn. It varies in pitch & length, but its pretty darn adorable when he does it
& he does this too, which is my favorite
Tallulah is a squeaker too. It's so cute.
I swear everything she does is adorable, but my favorite thing is how jealous of my husband she is. LOL She won't let him near me when she's around. If he tries to kiss me or hug me, she's right there in between us. She does not want him near me if she's there. It's like she's afraid he's going to steal my kisses from her or something. As if.
You take my ovaries, I take your yarns.
Louie does the squeaky yawn too!
When I come home from getting groceries, he has his nose in every single bag checking it all out. And he loves cheese....a lot! The second the cheese comes out of the bag to get put away...he goes crazy. He puts himself through a series of commands....he will sit, then lay down, then sit again, then attempt to shake, then lay down again......he tries anything in hope of getting a slice! It's pathetic...but adorable.
I've caught him up on the couch snuggling with his stuffed hippo. He knows he shouldn't be up there unless he's told he can. Instead of jumping off, he sits very very still and has this look on his face as if to say "if I don't move a hair maybe she won't see me." Love it.
