I am from the northwest were we have lots of options for cheap groceries/damaged freight. I know that there is one grocery outlet in Glendale, but I live in Queen Creek. It wouldn't be worth the drive. Does anyone know of anything closer? Maybe Gilbert, Chandler/Ahwahtukee, maybe even Mesa?

oh and learned today... even with the 5 dollar off coupon fresh and easy sent me, it's still not worth shopping there. the butter was a dollar more than what i paid for it at fry's for the same size and they wanted 8 dollars for 3 half breasts of chicken that i bought for 11 dollars for 5 full breasts...
i get their food is organic and stuff, but seriously not in my budget. guess i'm going to give the coupons away.

I was just having a discussion recently about WinCo foods... I guess they're putting in a new one in Mesa - Power and Southern. I think that's the same type of store/place you're looking for.
That's still probably a ways from you though.
Nice! I didn't know about that one... I'm around S. Gilbert and 202.
I've never actually been in a Winco... but was told it's like Aldi's is in Ohio, which I've been to. lol
