Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

So far so good...
Yesterday, I was officially offered the new job that I interviewed for! I'm so excited that 1) it's a different field than what I have been doing for the last 10 years (banking) 2) it's making a significant amount more than I am currently 3) it gives me that much more motivation that 2012 is going to be a good year.
Now, if only I can find a place to live, so I can break up with my BF. I'm not looking forward to doing the breaking up, and I know the longer I wait the harder it's going to be. One of you ladies said it best a couple weeks ago, and it has stuck in my head ever since: "But the worst idea is to stay in a life that doesn't fulfill you, doesn't make you happy, doesn't make you feel safe, and doesn't make you feel optimistic. So even though leaving is hard as sh.i.t, you just do it. Because you're way better off in the end."
Having a small budget sucks!
