Minnie+Mickey's magical journey reviews-anyone go?

Anybody take their LO to see this Disney on Ice show? We were thinking of getting last minute tickets for Monday in Newark. I thought my DD would get bored easily since she isn't into the princess characters (which i think are also part of the show) She loves Mickey and is not so much into the other characters. wondering if it was worth the almost $100 for us to go (upper level seats only). Thanks!

  • Abby is going on the 28th.  She is seeing it at the Sun Arena in Trenton.  I know the tickets weren't that expensive.

  • We are going thurs at the IZOD center. There was an opening night special and we got tickets with fees for $20 and are sitting in the lower section.

  • We're going to IZOD next Saturday.  I paid an arm and a leg for the tickets and then found a plum benefits code after.  If you're a member of plum benefits, the tickets are between 20-50% off, I think.  My son loves Mickey and keeps asking to meet him, so I'm hoping he loves it.

  • we went today. it was cute. Genevieve has always done well at shows. There were no princesses in this show. The only part  felt that was too long was the captain hook segment.

  • We went today and although it was really cute, Mickey and MInnie are in it for 10-15 minutes. The rest of the show was The Lion King, Lilo and Stitch, The Little Mermaid and Peter Pan. it was a cute show, and luckily my daughter loved it, but we went to see Mickey too and they really were not in it at all.

  • And I also felt like Mickey & Minnie were in it for all 5 minutes at the start & 5 minutes at the end.

We also did not buy tickets but sat in my company's suite which was awesome.

We also didn't buy tickets, we were with a friend who got tickets through a Prudential Center employee. We sat in the section that was on the same floor as the bar, so it was great!!! I felt so important having a concierge throughout the show. It was a fun experience!

  • Thanks everyone! It sounds like ti wouldn't be worth it since I know she wouldn't like the other characters that much. Since we've been to Disney, it will be hard to top meeting Mickey up close! Lots of other things we can do instead
