Minibini update

He is doing the same or maybe a little better. He has not needed extra oxygen or to have an IV so that is excellent. They say he might be able to go home tomorrow.

I feel like I have really bad luck with long weekends. Columbus Day weekend I was hospitalized for bleeding when 34w pregnant. Now it's MLK day weekend and I'm back here with minibini!

Are they letting you sleep at the hospital with him?

Yes. He is in a room with space for 4 beds but in it is one crib and 2 hospital beds and he's the only patient in here. So I just sleep in the bed next to his crib.

I was going to ask for an update today if you hadn't posted one. I'm glad to hear he might get to go home tomorrow! DH always says it must be part of the American work ethic to only get sick on weekends and holidays bc I'm notorious for doing that, too. It sucks, and it must be even worse when it's your kid that's sick. :-/

I'm sorry you have to be in the hospital, but so glad baby is getting good care. DS#2 had RSV last winter and we were so close to going to the hospital. I remember how scary that was.
