Clarisonic and Retin-A?

If you use both Retin-A and the Clarisonic, which brush do you use?  I'm wondering if I should go ahead and start out with the sensitive brush, or if I should see if I can tolerate the deep pore cleansing one.

  • Definitely sensitive.  I've been on RETIN A since 11/13/11 and I'm still getting irritation when I use my brush daily; so I used it EOD.

  • I use deep pore, but right now I'm using Retin-A once a week because my face was peeling really bad before.

  • I use Retin A and the Clarisonic brush head for sensitive skin. I find the Clarisonic really helps reduce the flakiness that I sometimes get with Retin A and I don't find that my skin is over exfoliated using both methods.
  • How long were you using the retinol before you started using your Clarisonic? I have recently switched from the weakest Differin to Retin A 0.05% and I am peeling like crazy. I use less than a pea size every three days using only Cetaphil cleanser and CeraVe moisturizer but i need some type of exfoliation...
