trying to decide of who to go with for OBGYN!

I have my first and second choices for a ob-gyn but my third is Dr. David Garfinkel in Bedminster.  I am interested in him because he is  close to my home (5 minutes).  Has anyone heard of him?  I am pretty much sold on either Bissinger or Iammatteo ( even though I never met them), but everyone has been saying great things about them, but they are farther from my home.   Should distance be a factor in picking a dr?

Liz DP uses Garfinkel and I think Dana DDELO does too and love him.

I don't live the closest to Bissinger's office but heard great things and wanted to be affliliated with a smaller group with a hospital with a NICU. I think if you are high risk and have frequent appointments distance may play a part, but since I live in bumble i was going to have to drive further to anyone anyway so I picked an office that I clicked with that had good vibes and good office staff too.

For me with a pregnancy I wanted someone close to work and home so I wouldn't have to take much time off. GL

I drive from Bloomingdale to Morristown. For me it was more important that I have a dr that I love that is affiliated with a hospital that I wanted. (For the same reason my boys ped is in Madison). I was not comfortable with any of the the obs in my area and I didn't want to go to Chilton or St.Joes.

I see Dr Garfinkel and love him and his practice! I go to the morristown office, so I'm not sure if he has partners in the bedminster office, but I do hight rec. Him!!

I drive from hopatcong to Morristown for my OB who happens to be Iammatteo- who I cannot say enough great things about. I honestly love that man.

I big puffy heart love Dr. Garfinkel - I drive from Gillette to Morristown in order to see him. He was awesome through the two pregnancy losses and then my pregnancy and delivery with Anna. Can't say enough good things about him and the whole office.

I saw Dr G and really really liked him. I loved his office staff too. I debated switching over to him for this pg- but the practice was with has 6 drs, which is important to me for being pregnant and delivery, etc. But I did like him a lot and would recommend him, infact I plan on switching over to him when I am done being pg.
