I went to the doctor yesterday, and I do have a sinus infection. I haven't felt this sick in years. H ate something last night that didn't agree with him and suddenly he's "dying." As in won't get out of bed, needs me to get everything for him, won't lift a finger to help me. The one who's actually sick. So I'm left to do the dishes, walk the dog and clean up after the cat, who's also sick. He is throwing up everything he eats. So I'll be calling the vet tomorrow. I'm really worried about him, because in his 9 years, he's never been like this. I'm withholding all food till I talk to the vet tomorrow.

It's not like I'm asking H to wait on me hand & foot, but a little help would be nice. I should have gone into work today, but I'm not because I just don't have the energy. Now I'm thinking that would have been easier than taking care of a "sick" husband when I really am sick!

You have my empathy.  DH does the same thing.  This pregnancy, I've gotten a stomach thing (24 hour bug) twice (I never get sick) and the next day (when I need to rest and rehydrate), he gets it for 3 days!  Seriously?  Men are such babies.  I'm so sorry you're sick and I'm sorry for your cat too.  I hope you ALL feel better soon and your DH stops "dying" so he can help you!

DH and I have both been sick this past week (still are) and no matter how sick I am, he has one thing that is worse than me. I have a sore throat? Well his throat is RAW.
