Gah, vent

I always take my rings off when I'm cooking and put them on top of my vitamins bottle. I've been doing this for the whole year and a half we've lived here. Today, I managed to knock the bottle when moving stuff around and my ering slid down between the cabinets and the wall.

I freaked out because, hey, that's my ring. M's pissed that I'm so upset about it because his Mom lost her ring while they were in Denver and mine is just stuck in the kitchen. And, my Dad is currently on his way down to see if he can cut the cabinets out to get it.

Another peaceful day around here!

Re: Gah, vent

  • I would freak out if mine got stuck behind the cabinets too! I don't think he understands why it is so upsetting. Did his mom just recently lose her ring?

  • I would be upset too.  I know his mom's ring is an emotional situation, but that shouldn't mean that you should be any less upset about yours.  I hope your dad can get to it for you!
  • :( I hope your dad can get it. He's pretty awesome so I'm sure he can!

And I know that's hard with Mark's mom's ring :( double boo. But you have a right to freak out too.

Yeah, less a week before his Dad got sick.

Dad was able to get the cabinet out without damaging anything and then caulked the hole up good so there's no chance of me losing it there again. He's the best.

    Awesome news!!!!

  • That's great you got your ring back.

Does Mark's mom have any idea where she lost her rings.  That really sucks considering everything that happened as well.
