Centennial Preschools? (or near there)

We just put in an application for a house in Centennial (we are currently in HR) and Im looking at preschools in the area.

Any recommendations?  Ethan currently goes 3 days/wk at St. Andrews and it is $400/mo, we are hoping to find something for less money but still safe, stimulating, etc.  Recs?

  • Centennial is a good 12-15ish miles wide from the west to east sides.  Which part are you in?
  • Near Quebec and Arapahoe

  • Check out http://www.willowschildlearn.com/.  We send A to the Arapaho Hills location but their main location is right at Arapahoe and Quebec.  It isn't cheap, but I love, love, love it.  A has been going their since last June and I have nothing bad to say about it.  Family owned and the wife of one of the owner's is A's teacher.  Let me know if you have any specific questions.

  • N is at Village Child Development Center, in Greenwood Village, about 5-10 minutes from there and I love it.   They have all types of flexible schedules available.
  • We use the Goddard School in Centennial (near Lima and Arapahoe) and have been happy with it.

WonderRed, are you planning to use the Village for before/after school care? That option was attractive to us, but not sure how it compares to the elementary school's program.

I don't know yet where he will be going next year but,  if we end up at our home school, we would have the option of using The Village since it's one of the schools they pick up from.   More than likely, if we're at that school though, I won't use B&A at all.  I don't need before care and I'd just have my mom meet him at the bus stop on the 1-2 days a week that I wouldn't be able to make it home in time.

  • O went to Walnut Hills and we were pleased.  Dry Creek also has a good preschool program. They're both half day, though.
