Re: Golden Globes Red Carpet
I did too for a very long time.
I like Sarah Michelle, but for a reason I can't put my finger on, I don't think she's looking her best at all tonight. I don't think I like the dress, she's not really pulling it off.
Ha! Yea! I'm in my 30s.
ugh. don't like Nicole Kidman's dress at all. Her waist looks so tiny though
I love William H. Macy.
I'm annoyed at Andie McDowell's daughter being on the stage all the time because I hate Andie McDowell.
Nicole Kidman--different, odd, but I liked it.
Jessica Lange needs a brush.
I'm glad her hair isn't blonde anymore though. Add her to the list of people who should not be blonde.
I don't like Sarah Michelle. I'm not up to seeing her yet but she always looks like she smelled something bad.
I'm so disappointed Kelsey Grammar won an award. I'm so disgusted by him that I wish i could throw a tomato through the tv.
I love Paula Patton's dress just not yellow for me. For her it's fine, but when I picture myself in it, it's blue.
Hate Claire Danes dress. OMG, what's on her shoulders??
I think we may have to check out Homeland.
I love Kate Winslet. She's in my top 5 favorite actresses ever. I love everything about her. Except her fashion sense. I never like her dresses. Except the Stella McCartney (I think) color-block.
I generally hate her (I know, I know, everyone thinks she's adorable but she lost me when she guested on Top Chef Masters and doesn't eat anything), but her eyeliner/mascara looks like tarantulas are clawing their way out of her eyes. I hate the black columns over her boobs too.
We haven't seen it either because we're 100% sure we'll hate it.
Octavia Spencer looks pretty. Melissa McCarthy take note--you don't have to wear a bag even though you are fat.
Also, there was an article on Octavia on ew.com in which they talked about her prepping the actors who played her kids for some awful, emotional scene by telling them they were worthless and never going to be able to do anything but be janitors and stuff. Commenters started saying how horrible that was and she (supposedly--it seemed legit) came into the comments and defended herself and her acting methods. It was bizarre.
Is it mostly bodily function humor? The trailers make it seem that way. I hate gross out "humor."
Yes, like red hot Barbie.
Is Sidney Poitier...stroking...out...on...stage?
Adam Levine is GORGEOUS.
DH and I both hate her so much! She's so whiny and emo.
I love the Golden Globes. And I loved Bridesmaids, but I'm pretty sure you would not enjoy it Fallin. At all.
I hated Nicole Kidman's and Sarah Michelle Gellar's dresses. Anyone that didn't watch Homeland should do so. It's fantastic and I'm jealous that you still have it ahead of you to watch. I love Claire Danes, probably still because I related so much to Angela Chase. And also, because she's a fantastic actress.
I'm not really bothered by Melissa McCarthy's dress. Maybe that's more cause I feel for her. I think its HARD to find formal evening wear that works for a very large woman. Or maybe its just because I love her so that I want to cut her slack in the dress department.
Love Tina Fey's dress.
I'm pretty sure I won't either.
Her dress is Badgley Mischka. They should have done better for her. She looked better at the Emmys. Her hair is unfortunate too.
Alexander Payne makes dull, middle age man crisis movies. Avoid. Avoid.
