Woodley's Furniture

Has anyone bought furniture from Woodleys?  What was your experience like?

We need to get a few pieces here soon, media center (most likely base only) and then some bedroom furniture (side tables and maybe a bed frame).  We went to Furniture Row and Woodley's today, I LOVED the furniture at Woodley's but wasn't so excited about the price.  Maybe it's one of those things were the price is completely worth it?

Anyone have a furniture place they love??

Re: Woodley's Furniture

  • We have an oak table and chairs from Woodley's.  We bought it second hand so we didn't pay the Woodley's price, but it's definitely high quality

  • Since moving here we've furnished 3 different rooms with furniture from Woodley's--kids bedorooms with Young America and couches/media center in family room...has all held up incredibly well.  And we usually go when they're having a "sale"...which is still pricey but so far has been worth it.

  • We have our master and guest bedroom sets and our dining room table from Woodley's. Love the quality! We bought solid wood pieces, so they were all pricey, but it was worth it IMO. Watch for the sales and grab a coupon if you can.

  • Get on their mailing list. I think we signed up in the store. The deals work out to about 5% off (the starting price is higher with a coupon), but it's still a small savings.
  • I don't think you can go wrong with quality furniture.  It hurts at the moment but 10-20yrs down the road it doesn't owe you a thing. Think about how long you will want to keep the pieces, if it's long term then put out the money for quality otherwise just get some from CL and wait until you are buying for long term.

  • We purchased our dining room table, chairs and buffet from Amish Furniture Showcase and we couldn't be happier.  It's beautiful and smooth.  You can choose which type of wood and stain (there are probably 75 different stains) and they hand make it for you.  It is pricey, but something that we will have forever.
