Re: christmas shopping

  • wow - you are the earliest I've ever heard!  What a great start.

I bought things really early at after Christmas sales once, and then when next Christmas came, I wasn't as excited about them anymore as when I bought them.

I did pick up several little things for stocking stuffers.  We don't have too many to buy for, but I am going to pick up more stuff throughout this year.

  • No - - I buy everyone gift cards, so I don't like to do that until the month of December!

I did buy DH and my dad (birthdays March and April) their birthday gifts on sale, though!

  • That's a great idea!  The earliest I've ever Xmas shopped was in the Summer, and I thought that was early!

I will put aside little things as I see them for bdays & holidays in advance but we just don't have a lot of storage to keep presents that far in advance, lol.  Our laundry room was FILLED to the brim with everyone's Christmas presents this year!

  • That's crazy.  I don't even know what I want a year in advance.  Good for you though.
