This just breaks my heart....

...and definitely makes you stop and think of how precious life is. Say an extra prayer for Autumn tonight....

  • I can't even imagine. It does definitely put everything into perspective. When I'm having a "rough" day, I really try to think of stories like this. It makes me realize my "problems" are nothing more than inconveniences and how grateful I should be for what I have.

  • Wow, that was depressing.

  • I wasn't able to open the link from my phone. Will try again tonight.

  • So sad that children are faced with problems like this.  It's not fair.  I will pray for the family.

If you want to read another tear jerking story, read the story about Tripp Roth.  Warning, the photos are difficult to see but his mother's devotion is inspiring.  I am sad to say, the sweet Tripp lost his battle two days ago and died in his mother's arms while she was rocking him.  While I have never meet this family, I shed a few tears when I heard he died.  But now he is pain free and now an angel.

  • Wow :(  I wasn't going to open these because I'm such a ball of hormones, but I bit the bullet and Tasha is absolutely right, it put's my "problems" into perspective!  <3

  • Heartbreaking.  It does put life into perspective.  As much as we've been through this year, I've always tried to remember how many people have it so much worse than we do.

  • Sorry, I posted that and "ran". I have been complaining to MH about Lila and her screaming every time that I change her (if I don't let her roll over and stand up on her changing table). After reading that, I feel pretty crappy for complaining about it. I am thankful that she is here and able to do it. I love Lila more than life itself... I don't know what I would do if I was in Autumns mothers shoes.

I remember hearing about Tripp's story about a year ago (around the time that I got PG) and heard the news of his passing from Mindy on FB. It is so sad.

  • Both mothers are very strong women.  As a mother, seeing my children in even the tiniest bit of pain pains me.  I can't even imagine going through that with your child and knowing that you can't take their pain away.
  • My heart breaks for her.  I could not imagine.  Praying for Autumn and her family!
