Dog wants to eat snow instead of drinking from water bowl
Every winter now for the past couple of years, my 10 y.o. lab wants to go outside and eat snow rather than drink from her water bowl. Is this odd? She drinks normally when there's no snow outside.

My sisters dog does this.
She's totally a camel & will drink a whole bowl of water at once too (no she does not have any health problems).
My corgis are the same. They LOVE snow and ice.
I would just make sure she doesn't get any snow that may have salt on it. Most kinds of road salt are toxic to dogs (though there are some pet friendly kinds you can buy)
