That it is but it is an option a lot of people choose. Especially if they don't have anywhere to bury them. If you have a place to bury it I would do that. You can get a small box like a shoe box and place in that then dig at least like 3 feet down and bury the whole box. That is what we did with my daughters first hamster.

Maybe if she just leaves the hamster it will just disappear. I mean if your so bizzy the smell shouldn't bother anyone.
Make sure you don't get another animal in future k? Thanks!
Exactly my thoughts.
This. Poor little guy
As someone who has dealt with her on TK I can assure you this one is real.

*headdesk* Wow. I thought to myself "you shouldn't open this post" then I did.
By the way its spelled h-a-m-s-t-e-r and h-e-l-p. I should probably give up before I waste to much time.
Not the kid's fault (unless he is 18+ years old). Parents are responsible for their kids' pets. There's a special place in hell for someone who is so wrapped up in herself that she lets a living creature starve to death - that's a horrible way to die.
this whole post is .....*AWFUL*....
you should get *BUSY* and make sure you don't starve your son to death, too.
What the he!l. You are "LOL" ing about a dead hamster? You forgot to feed it? Seriously?!?! I didn't read through the other posts but really? Wow. How would you feel if you were stuck in a cage starving to death? Good job.
Fail.
I still haven't decided if she's a REALLY good troll or if she's actually real.

Do you mean "can't" or did you accidentally reply to your own post and this is actually MUD? I'm so confused.
How can you be so "bizzy" that you forget about a living creature? What the eff is wrong with people? Good grief.
Missing our little turkey.

Seriously. That is without a doubt a severe case of animal abuse and neglect. I really hope you never adopt animals again. Or that someone stops you from adopting.
Yes. In the end, it's the adult who is responsible for the pet. It is the OP's fault the hamster died. Children need to be taught this kind of responsibility. I can see she's doing a stellar job.

Really? Is it that more "aweful" than starving it to death?
*awful
BWAAHAHAHA!! /dead

Yup, she's real. Sadly.
You are a piece of work. If I knew you personally and you told me that I would report your ass for animal abuse and do what I could to make sure you could never get another pet. A new baby is NO excuse for starving an animal to death.
